  • A must to visit whenever you are in Yerevan. The guides are very skilled and know a lot of things about Armenians and our history... 
  • A unique place where everyone should visit who are interested in not only the history of Armenia, but also General history. The Museum is located in the building of the Research Center, in the center of Yerevan, cross or go where does not constitute any difficulty. The Matenadaran is stored more than 17 thousand ancient manuscripts and more than 100 thousand ancient archival documents, some of which are exhibited in the Museum. Begin creating the collection dates back to the 5th century and is associated with the creator of the Armenian alphabet by Mesrop Mashtots. Here you'll find unique works, but to fully understand them and understand necessarily advise take a guide with whom tour will be much interesting and will last for 35-40 minutes. You'll find manuscripts V-XVIII centuries as well as printed Armenian book XVI-XVIII centuries, writings of ancient and medieval Armenian historians, writers, and philosophers. Be sure to visit, you will not regret neither spent small money nor time.
