  • HAGHPAT is located on a small mountain plateau near the Canyon of the river Debed have great similarity with the monuments of Sanahin. Their architectural details and structures are so similar that it is possible to assume, that they are masters of one school. Right at the entrance is a majestic Bell Tower, built in the year 1245. It is surmounted by a beautiful Rotunda, built on seven columns. The lower part of the building has a square shape, while the second floor-the form of the octahedron. The main temple is similar to that of Haghpat and Sanahin Amenaprkich by type of construction, and detail, and creation time. The Church was richly decorated with unique, but poorly preserved frescoes. A special place among the buildings of the complex occupies a narthex or GAVIT of the main temple, built in the 13th century. Overlap the premises carried out two pairs of powerful overlapping arches, with the system applied here twice, one above the other. On the same arches and dome rests with hole-erdikom. Church of surb NSHAN (Holy Signs) was built in the 10th century. She had kind of a spacious domed halls. In 1257 year narthex was added to it, called the House of HAMAZASP. This unique ooruzhenie is the only one of its kind. Here system overlapping arches, which is repeated twice, but not in length and in height. None of the medieval buildings does not have such long (13metrovyh) arch spans, giving lightness and airiness around the construction.   • I honestly did a tour and then we visited many monasteries that seem to come from a book of fairy tales. I love the art and I can tell you that for me was one of the best trips I made. If you ask me, the Armenia is beautiful? I answer you right away. But also the people are a peculiar people.
