  • This area of the town of Dilijan is different from the streets of Yerevan or other peoples. The architecture is very characteristic and worth seeing!

  • "Craftsmen Street"-a beautiful new print, which you will not find immediately, but then cannot stop photographing. The name "Dilijan" has plenty of etymologies. According to folk etymology "Dili Gian" means "sweet". This name was first found in the travelogues of the Frenchman Jean Chardin, when he 1664-1670 years traveled across Transcaucasia. Locals call Dilijan little Switzerland. And coming here, you understand why. And to see the "old Dilijan" to visit the so-called "Craftsmen Street". This restored quarter (re-established in 1970 g.) historical buildings (end of XIX-beginning of XX century) with its characteristic architectural elements of Dilijan-attics, carved wooden balconies with railings and window and door casings. The author of idea-Vanik Sharambeyan (after whom the street is named). Here is recreated and traditional way of life of the townspeople — craftsmen, there are cafes, selling souvenirs, conducts master classes. But our visit no master-classes did not work, but we got to shoot a music video of a local star. Interestingly, the company Brejnd in cooperation with the "Association of ecotourism" established cultural brand city Dilijan (carved circle with small raznnoobraznymi).
