Lake Kari is a lake in Armenia located in the slopes of Mount Aragats mostly formed by ice and snow. It is located 3,190 m above the sea level and has a perimeter of 1,150 m. From Byurakan village an asphalted automobile road stretches towards the source of Arkashen River, the lake Kari, located on a plateau below the peaks. On the eastern side of the lake there is a meteorological station.

  • 1) the road: we were there in the mid September, so no snow. Road is narrow, with some holes, but I wouldn't count it at some of the most dangerous roads in world as some doo. We had a sedane, and man...  read more »
  • Nice Armenian kitchen for khash lovers. It is made from caw feet. It looks like soup and you eat it with lavash Armenian bread 
  • Very beautiful and wonderful place. Overcast skies hugging mountain peaks and picturesque lake rows of distinctive. The best view in Armenia. Advice to wear heavy cloths.
