Beautiful place! There are that go early because the tour is custom and do so only until 2 pm at least in winter, which is when we went. Impeccable taste, the wine is amazing. It has a dream terrace where you can stay and enjoy a drink or a coffee. Dream place!

Amazing architecture ... wineries organized with very complete command tour. In the end we're going to the top floor and do the tasting facing the Andes. Indescribable!

We started with a tasting with a great explanation of each house wine, some very well rewarded and scored. Then we had a spectacular lunch, either by new Spanish chef's menu is the environment of the restaurant has a perfect view of the mountain range. Just loved every moment in the winery. Perfect: service, atmosphere and food.

Our tour of the winery Monteviejo was a sensory experience and artistic, a unique and stunning ride that has become even more vibrant with the tasting of the wines produced with great care and dedication. A tour that we recommend to all who wish to an immersion in the Valle de Uco. The tour starts in the area outside where we can see some of the vineyards and we have a complete overview of the three-storey property that was hatched by one of the most influential women in the world of wine, Catherine Péré-Vergé, deceased in 2013. The Monteviejo is today led by Marcello Pelleriti, one of the most talented winemakers of Argentina and responsible for high-scoring wines in specialized vehicles in the world. The building is super cute on the outside and fully functional in the internal area, where a large modern Museum holds major awards as the Great Wine Capitals Arts and Culture Award. The tour is done the halls full of facilities and experiments that involve us in every way, we were surprised with writings, paintings, sculptures, videos and sounds. The production line uses gravity to process the grapes for the different phases of development, thus avoiding the use of pumps and generating a productive capacity of 1,500,000 bottles per year. At the top of the building with 8,500 m ² is the terrace and view to the 130 acres of one of the most charming wine landscapes in the world. At this moment it is possible to envision all the grandeur of the Clos de los Siete. Next to the terrace is the space Monteviejo Winery, a wine bar and wine shop. Here you can buy the bottles that are between $195.00 AIR (about R $40.00 in 05/2017) and $550.00 AIR (R $115.00), great prices compared with the same labels for sale in Brazil. We went to the tasting where we experience the Petite Fleur Torrontes, with balanced acidity, floral aroma and persistent final, silver medal at Decanter World Wine Awards from 2016. The next wine was the Petite Fleur, with evident olfactory notes Blend of minerals in the region, violet and ripe tannins, a wine very easy to please, especially due to your fruity ending. Finally the beautiful flower Blend, a Malbec and Syrah with a lot of personality, bright red intense, complex aromas of plum, black pepper and nutmeg, long end and smooth in the mouth. Wine with excellent cost-benefit ratio, air $550.00 at the local store. (some R $115.00 in 05/2017) Final tip: every summer the winery hosts a major event called Monteviejo Wine Rock, organized by Marcello himself, with performances by artists and musicians from all over Argentina and already consecrated as one of the most popular cultural events of Mendoza.
