  • Total abandonment, trash everywhere, a small and accessible lagoon that could take advantage of many people, is in terrible conditions. It is the dustbin of la Angostura. Do not lose time going to visit her. A shame the apathy of the municipality

  • 5 minutes from the Centre of the narrow, way to the port, there is a small path that runs along the lagoon and carrying no more than 15 minutes. Although this fairly neglected since it has broken railings and loose wood is suitable for all public. It is a nice tour in the midst of a forest with some stops to take a few mates.

  • Laguna Verde is located 500 metres from Brava Bay and in a place that many years ago was called the Selva Triste. The entrance is free. Twenty years ago, when we visited it for the first time, practically had only five or six houses in the vicinity. Currently, all of the Selva Triste is busy with houses, cabins and inns. There is therefore, to congratulate the municipality of Villa La Angostura by have kept the Green lagoon and an important space to your around, for public use, without that invaded it private property. At the intersection of the two streets closest there is a large sign carved in wood with its name. However, being this lagoon something hidden by the vegetation, the entrance of the main footpath that leads to the same should be signposted. Once entered the trail, after walking 100 metres under a dense Patagonian forest edge is reached, and from there it is very easy to continue along a path that surrounds it in its entirety. There are some benches under the cypresses, coihues and other species of trees and shrubs, very good to drink mate, alone or in group, or family, to "listen" to the silence, the song of the birds (is a good place to observe and photograph some waterfowl and other) tree), or simply walk, appreciating the different angles of the Bank in relation to the water mirror, as you go giving you the Sun and the observer's position to its around. Note that some years ago the communal authorities worried about enough in place carved wooden signs indicating the common and scientific names of the different species of trees and shrubs, the listed banks and some wooden footbridge with rail and one or two small viewpoints. However, at present, are notes that true neglect and abandonment of the place by the communal authorities, which should be revised. Walkways and viewpoints, there are broken boards that can cause accidents to the unsuspecting traveller or children. It shows lack of regular cleaning. I think that it is important that you assign to one or two caretakers and security guards, both to control that visitors not dirty, and because at certain times of the day the lagoon and its surroundings - this last covered by lots of vegetation - can be fully desert. Highly recommended place to visit, especially with the morning sun.

  • Laguna Verde, Neuquen Argentina This was actually the very first lake that I visited out of the five (5) lakes just outside of Villa Pehuenia, Neuquen Argentina. The views are quite lovely and it is probably the easiest lake to get to out of the five (5) lakes. I want to personally Thank Carlos Urquiza for taking ME there and helping make my Youtube Video back on Friday, June 23, 2017.
