  • The road to get to the waterfall is of a level easy, very simple. You must cross two times a river where the water is very cold, in summer you can wear shoes that can get wet and then continue walking with them, since the route does not present difficulties. Approximately in 30 minutes you find with a small waterfall and another large which is very impressive. Even there the road is signposted but above are several more waterfalls, can be to them by a caminito quite difficult due to the steep slope, most of the people are not accessible by this situation. The trip takes 1 hour (round-trip) hike the longer you want to enjoy these wonderful waterfalls. An activity to make more than recommended!

  • It is a walk in which there are to cross two times the River, so depending on the time of year it is feasible or not by the cold water, boots may be to cross him, once you reach the first jump, I recommend to remontandolo as there are several jumps more and great nipples on eroded stones.

  • You should go by car, since it is in the middle of the route. The sign indicating the entrance is too small, approx. lies 12 km past the entrance to Traful (going from the angostura to San Martín) the path to the waterfall is very nice and easy and accessible for all ages... less than an hour of ida. It is good to go early to spend a few hours in the beach of the waterfall... The ride is quiet, there is not many people

  • On Route 40, more precisely route of the seven lakes, lies the path to the Ñivinco waterfall, trail where you can appreciate a beautiful and dense typical forest in the hilly area... the truth a paradise...

Where to stay in Villa La Angostura

Villa La Angostura's increasing popularity with winter sports enthusiasts from distant corners of the world drives up hotel room prices at the height of the ski season in July and August. Summer (November to February) is equally popular here, and most single rooms book up months in advance. Budget travelers can take advantage of economical hostels or try one of the area's campgrounds--arguably the best way to stay close to Angostura's natural attractions.
