  • The Chapel is on the right of the Nahuel Huapi Avenue that leads to the puerto viejo, clearly visible. You enter a small parking lot. Designed by architect Alejandro Bustillo, inspired by the architecture of Northern Europe, in stone, carpentry, brick masonry and tiles of larch wood. It is small but charming, and in the altar looks like a picture of the Cuzco School of more than 200 years. It is surrounded by a beautiful wooded garden.

Where to stay in Villa La Angostura

Villa La Angostura's increasing popularity with winter sports enthusiasts from distant corners of the world drives up hotel room prices at the height of the ski season in July and August. Summer (November to February) is equally popular here, and most single rooms book up months in advance. Budget travelers can take advantage of economical hostels or try one of the area's campgrounds--arguably the best way to stay close to Angostura's natural attractions.
