Museo Municipal Ernesto Bachmann, Villa El Chocon

(4.2/5 based on 95+ reviews on the web)
Those interested in dinosaur archeology and history should head to Museo Municipal Ernesto Bachmann, where genuine fossil-recreated models of different species sit alongside informative multimedia presentations. Don't miss the museum's claim to fame: a life-size recreation of the world's largest carnivorous dinosaur, the Giganotosaurus carolinii, discovered just a couple miles from the museum's location. Take a guided tour for an especially engaging trip, though be aware that some staff may speak little English. • They recommended much this Museum, to become all very cute. To move through, I almost left the likes, we thought it would be something more interactive, but the truth is well boring.

  • I had read many reviews recommending to visit the Museum. Perhaps that is the reason why it had other expectations. You have good intentions but they can be to misspellings in the posters

  • Instructive and fun for the kids this museum dedicated to the fossils of dinosaur found in Patagonia. It is worthwhile to stop visit and also ride a car on the wall of the Chocón.
