San Roque Lake, Villa Carlos Paz
(3.9/5 based on 550+ reviews on the web)
Escape from the city and retreat to the lakeside village near San Roque Lake, artificially constructed in 1886 to provide fresh water for the capital. The area around the man-made lake now serves as a quiet getaway, where you'll often find locals and tourists lounging on the grass, picnicking, or playing a game of soccer. To appreciate the area from a different perspective, consider taking a catamaran sailing tour across the body of water, and learn about the region's history and the development of the city. • We visit Villa Carlos Paz in winter break, we had an excellent climate. We enjoy touring the Lake up to the dock by a path full of incredible views, one is better than the other, really a place full of magic.

  • The Lake is very cute, as always, the problem is that it is becoming increasingly more polluted in its surroundings. The area of the catamaran is full of trash because people don't care and pull it. It should be more responsible with the trash and do not throw it away on either side. The Lake is very beautiful and there are many activities to do, but garbage is ruining it.
