San Roque Lake, Villa Carlos Paz

(3.8/5 based on 600+ reviews on the web)
Escape from the city and retreat to the lakeside village near San Roque Lake, artificially constructed in 1886 to provide fresh water for the capital. The area around the man-made lake now serves as a quiet getaway, where you'll often find locals and tourists lounging on the grass, picnicking, or playing a game of soccer. To appreciate the area from a different perspective, consider taking a catamaran sailing tour across the body of water, and learn about the region's history and the development of the city. • While its volume depends on necessarily flow relationship of tributaries and consumption, while fuller, can best be leveraged its image and enjoy. From any angle, in particualr their side from the 100 road curves and take the exit towards Bialet Masset, each curve brings an image and a different postcard

  • The truth we disappointed quite... I've met it on other occasions and it is a beautiful place; but this year the water much ugly smell, really dirty is saw water very green and thick (seemed to paint), so was at least in the area of the waterfront of Carlos Paz... We wanted to stay to take some mates and had to follow because it was very ugly...

  • The Lake is beautiful and the facilities to enjoy it are very good... but the algae do not forgive and the smell is literally nauseating... a shame
