Landmark
Admire the artistry and historical importance of El Puente Uruguay, an impressively engineered bridge housing a cultural center. Built in 1945, the small bridge has undergone several facelifts over the years, and now contains 150 m (492 ft) of gallery and retail space hidden beneath the road. Admire the artworks on display, with rolling exhibits throughout the year, and browse the extensive range of handicrafts, trinkets, and arty souvenirs sold at the stalls. The many-arched bridge looks impressive from many angles, with the windows of the hidden art gallery offering a particularly unusual sight. • Take the local tour and not the cruise ship it is much cheaper and comfortable. Go to the white houses and around the town. It reminds a small Hawaii at the Conrads house tour  more »
  • It is a bridge that in its lower part presents a 'Gallery' closed than faces with various business art. Interesting to explore but the best view is obtained from foreign travel. . We disappointed we had read that at night I had a very nice lighting, but we were not lucky
