Admire the artistry and historical importance of El Puente Uruguay, an impressively engineered bridge housing a cultural center. Built in 1945, the small bridge has undergone several facelifts over the years, and now contains 150 m (492 ft) of gallery and retail space hidden beneath the road. • The bridge Uruguay is situated in the Paseo de los Patos at La Costanera. Has a beautiful lighting and you better visit her at night. The afternoon is propitious for the walk, bike or car. Beautiful view, romantic and wooded.

Where to stay in Villa Carlos Paz

Despite its small size, Villa Carlos Paz features a solid array of accommodations thanks to the steady stream of city-slickers looking for a weekend of relaxation. Plenty of larger hotels featuring onsite restaurants, pools, and more upscale furnishings cluster around the highway intersection at the southern tip of the lake. While these obviously get you closer to the downtown nightlife, they generally come with a higher price tag. If you're looking for something a bit more budget-friendly, try renting a room at one of the city's many "cabanas"--smaller, lodge-like hotels farther out from the city center.
