(3.9/5 based on 180+ reviews on the web)
Hit the slopes at Penitentes Mendoza, home to over 20 runs of various degrees of difficulty. You get great views of the valley from up top, where you can also spot weirdly shaped ice formations reminiscent of penitents climbing or praying on their knees. If you are in the region during the summer, ride up on the cable car for some of the best photo opportunities in the Andes. The base of the mountain features many hotels and bars to hit up after a day on the slopes. • The scenery is spectacular! The Andes mountain range is IMPRESSIVE. Penitentes is a ski center of low-rise, special for children (also for adults who are not expert skiing) to spend one or more days in pure fun. There are several dealers ready with the infrastructure and equipment to receive you, even with teachers who will give you the initial notions in this spectacular sport. You can park without too many problems, as long as you go early in the morning, past noon, if the climate is favourable becomes very complicated. Don't forget to pass by Penitentes, are going to enjoy.

  • A wonderful place, very close to the Cristo Redentor tunnel that divides Argentina of Chile, located in the middle.
