Sail along the coastline of Ushuaia Bay, featuring a backdrop of snowcapped mountains and offering access to small islands with thousands of birds, penguin colonies, and seals. Try to spot orcas, sea lions bathing in the sun, and albatrosses smoothly gliding through the air along the way. Visit the Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse, which is often mistaken for the "Lighthouse at the End of the World" from Jules Verne's novel of the same title. Dress adequately, with plenty of layers, a hood, and warm gloves. Make Ushuaia Bay a part of your Ushuaia vacation plans using our Ushuaia tour planner.

  • We took part in an excellent trip. 5-hour trip we went through within the framework of the surrounding bays and settlements (even it's not much here at the end of the world), the sparkling sunshine also contributed to this wonderful experience. I can only recommend to everyone.

  • Boat rides can be hired at the agencies that are near the entrance to the port. The tour makes a stop at the Island of the birds, where it is possible to observe a colony of Imperial cormorants, sea lion island and Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse. There is no descent. Although expensive, it is a very interesting ride, because it's not often that you can observe sea lions up close.

  • To get there you should take the boat at the port which is going to bring to the island of the birds and wolves. Missed this tour.
