  • I've arrived with the entrance tickets from the park purchased. Just buy the tickets from the train ride, which I highly recommend. Beautiful landscapes, full of stories about the prison and that worked on site until the end of the 19th century. All very well organized and clean. Despite the large number of tourists visiting the site, everything went smoothly.

  • Costs $18 return. Bus stop near river. Ask an info desk for whereabouts. About 20min drive there. There are a few treks you can do. One of them is 3.5hrs mild to medium - few wobbly rocks on walking d...  more »
  • It was our first excursion in Ushuaia, that day in October presented a snowstorm that was not expected for the time. We were able to do the tour with the guide and had to put snow system on the wheels. Very interesting visit because of the low visibility we did not make the stretch of the train at the end of the world but very interesting the route and for us an emotion of being able to see snow. If you have no experience in driving with this weather I do not recommend doing it with your own

  • Its nature showing off better in summer but winter is also nice with the correct gear and guidance.
  • Sleepy forests with dense woods, nice glacial valley, lakes and streams: a pleasure to visit about Argentina pesos $500 per person. Dirt roads in good condition and many well maintained paths make it well accessible even for older folks. Not many restrooms so plan ahead.
  • The entrance for foreigners isn't the cheapest but staying at tent there is free. It's not impossible to do all the places in the park in one day but you might have to rush a little bit. If you have a car and wanna go to the supermarket to get some food and come back, you can reenter without paying extra
  • If you are wondering if it's worth to spend a day here at Parque Nacional Tierra del Fuego I absolutely suggest you to stop thinking...You MUST go!!! It was so impressive to look over the horizon of the sea and see nothing a part fog, I mean over there there is nothing I and it let me quite literally breathless. You really have to go and close your eyes for a while, breath that different air of the most southern walking path of the world and feel so tiny in our world!!! Have a nice journey!
  • A nice National Park located at "the end of the world", which is probably the main reason people visit it and talk about it. Other than that, it features pretty scenery and enjoyable walking trails on the coast and in the forest. If you are a long term traveler, you won't find anything amazing there, but for sure you can spend good time and enjoy the scenery slowly. Like most of the NP in South America, foreigners are considered as wealthier and will be charger much more than the locals for the entrance.
