  • Ushuaia is a city that, due to proximity, lived intensely the armed conflict in the year 1982 and really this plaza, located on the waterfront, close to the new casino, may not less than exciting... the monument representing the map draught of the Islands is simply spectacular, is very well lit and the square are excited since to the walk photos of the conflict can be seen the names of the soldiers, votive flame, the gigantic flag on one side of the monument, the poster with the lyrics by Alejandro Lerner "The island of good memory", makes that it is erice you skin... One of the best tributes have met and that can not fail to visit during your stay in Ushuaia...

  • The presence of the malvinas and South Atlantic war is constant in Ushuaia, not only due to its proximity, but by the strong police presence there. This square has an obvious symbolic value by the monument to the fallen in Malvinas - which has become iconic of the city - and the flame of eternal fire. There is also a plaque with all the names of the fallen and other commemorative plaques. It is exciting. It is on the waterfront, which receives a beautiful sunset almost horizontal light for summer evenings.
