Playa Larga, Ushuaia
(4.1/5 based on 160+ reviews on the web)
Spreading along a mountainous coastline, Playa Larga abuts on a huge old beech forest traversed by a long hiking trail (which is, as legend has it, the land of leprechauns). The almost barren hills above the beach offer panoramic views of the city, as well as barbecue spots. Have a picnic, hike through the forest or walk on the beach, sunbathe, or simply take in the views of the snowcapped mountains, the channel, and the city of Ushuaia. • All Ushuaia is beautiful, this place has the particularity of being public (which is not paid entry), it has stunning views, trails for walks, it is close to the city (easy access), has forest, beach, "mar", all. Nice to enjoy family, friends, couples and IT can BE GO WITH PETS: in this case remember to carry bag to lift their waste, please. To take into account: Ushuaia is a clean city, if you go to any site PLEASE, take your trash, long beach is beautiful and still is public, therefore, has free access but it is NOT the owner, which is solidarity and do not leave garbage! It is a beautiful place to enjoy. Thank you!

  • We didn't have many references when we went, almost by chance left us a few hours before returning the car and took the opportunity to visit and we were pleasantly surprised. It has beautiful views of the city all the way, down to the beach is very careful and there are places for a picnic or even a barbecue.

  • This circuit is not promoted for tourists because it requires walking and that does not take you to the key points. The road is beautiful, very wild, you find: foxes, rabbits, cows, Bulls, horses, Harriers, among it animals more large. It is a very tiring road because you constantly walk in descent and arrive in beautiful places, and if they are lucky and are encouraged to walk, they were encased River: something beautiful. With the view of the canal and Chile on the other side, it is a unique sight.
