Too bad a very interesting Museum is closed. It is good to know the history of the old tribes of Tierra del Fuego to go there. In the region there are many books about them and it is good to know its history.

The place is small, but information abounds. Very good history of indigenous peoples, can learn a lot!

The Museum has great potential, but in my opinion is a half water. Representations on small TVs video format is little practice. The models are good.

One of the tourist attractions "indoor" in Ushuaia. It is interesting to learn about the history of the original settlers of the "lands of the end of the world". A trip to a not-so-distant past, but that there are no remaining descendants.

Where to stay in Ushuaia

Despite its nickname, Ushuaia is certainly not the end of the world when it comes to finding comfortable lodgings--as long as you plan ahead and reserve your room in advance. Hotels and hostels are equally crowded here during the peak season (October to March), so it's advisable to arrive with a solid reservation in hand. If you choose to visit during the winter (June to mid-September), expect to find many establishments closed for the season.
