With medium/high degree of difficulty, have made this tour to Laguna Esmeralda earned me a good adventure story. The path is combined with bubbling mud and sometimes rugged terrain with rocks and marshlands, if it has been raining days before as was my case, but worth every kilometre going and coming back. The nature there spared no one centimeter of beauty and tranquility. I went during the summer days, so could you put your hand in the cold waters of the lagoon and feel the strong wind, which causes the temperature seems to be a lot shorter. About 10 km in total. Must have waterproof boots and a good guide to save the Wiles of the path.

We did the tour with Brazilians by Ushuaia. The way a beauty, the Lake also. Time not helped a lot lot of wind and rain. So we were only 10 min in the same. What I didn't like is lack of time that gave us to get us photos. I recommend making it on their own, the road is signposted and there are brands (blue) in the trees. wikilog application bajanse (3dolares) load the map (there are several sections by other travellers) from page of this application, and ready follows him on road by gps. They can hire a trafic(estan en el playon o pueden decir_le ael deel hotel que le llamen una) comes out les cheaper than taxi or remis. They agree to that time passes them to look back. If you go in winter recommend (apart from wear clothes for the occasion) take crampons on ice.

Where to stay in Ushuaia

Despite its nickname, Ushuaia is certainly not the end of the world when it comes to finding comfortable lodgings--as long as you plan ahead and reserve your room in advance. Hotels and hostels are equally crowded here during the peak season (October to March), so it's advisable to arrive with a solid reservation in hand. If you choose to visit during the winter (June to mid-September), expect to find many establishments closed for the season.
