  • I read reports that this is the best store to buy souvenirs in Ushuaia. When I went there, I researched in various shops and actually noticed that there are a few different items and a little cheaper. Making it clear that everything is expensive there, all right. Then, a discount to get help.

  • Under the theme gallery, is a great place with lots of variety of products, souvenirs, sweets, chocolates, books, clothes, for all tastes and pockets (you can pay with credit card also). It has a courtyard open to the public with the gallery theme figures very entertaining, not advisable to buy alcoholic beverages since they will be at best price in the shop located a few blocks free

  • A museo-bar - very highly recommended gift shop. Museum regards me very well, with audio guide (an MP3 player you get when you enter) that allows you to take the time to read, observe and take pictures since you can pause time is needed. With very good recreation in actual size it makes a review of the history of Ushuaia until today... Highly recommended for only $180 (discount for students and teachers)

  • Lots of nice souvenirs
  • It offers typical local crafts in series. I emphasize that in metal as the most original. I recommend metal bells, coat racks and other marine items.

  • You can buy many souvenirs. Other businesses have the same prices. The garden is nice to take pictures with the dolls.

Where to stay in Ushuaia

Despite its nickname, Ushuaia is certainly not the end of the world when it comes to finding comfortable lodgings--as long as you plan ahead and reserve your room in advance. Hotels and hostels are equally crowded here during the peak season (October to March), so it's advisable to arrive with a solid reservation in hand. If you choose to visit during the winter (June to mid-September), expect to find many establishments closed for the season.
