History buffs and churchgoers will find a lot to appreciate at Iglesia de la Merced, a simple yet charming Catholic church built in 1898 and declared a National Historic Monument in 1999. Striking in its sparseness, the church stands out with its bright orange facade. As you visit, take note of the how it differs from many of the typical ornately decorated South American churches, with very little stained glass. • We thank our tour to Ushuaia. The Church is simple and cozy at the same time. Ideal space for prayers. For Catholics who pass by here is worth entering and thank God.
