Where to stay in Ushuaia

Despite its nickname, Ushuaia is certainly not the end of the world when it comes to finding comfortable lodgings--as long as you plan ahead and reserve your room in advance. Hotels and hostels are equally crowded here during the peak season (October to March), so it's advisable to arrive with a solid reservation in hand. If you choose to visit during the winter (June to mid-September), expect to find many establishments closed for the season.

  • Southern most ski resort on the planet. Great powder. Stunning views. Friendly easy going locals.
  • Stunning
  • Great track, with modern lifts and excellent infrastructure. The snow season goes until September and the prices are more interesting than in the neighboring country.

  • There are ski resorts many larger, but this one is very good as well. To be as far south as always you have snow during the season. The tracks are very good and well maintained. The food of the place is very good but very expensive
