  • Alakush visitor centre, is within the National Park. It is a new building with very good food and cafeteria service (I recommend the hot chocolate!) attended by two girls with a unique sympathy. It has a museum that is worthwhile to travel to have knowledge of the original inhabitants of the area and its disappearance, fruit of the European presence.

  • It is a meeting place where leave or enter the combis. This in the Tierra del Fuego National Park. It can eat something to step, use the bathrooms, take a break and more important to have a very nice vantage point where photos can be removed from an interesting angle. Very interesting the Museum which is located within the center of Alakush interpretation that brings us through photographs, models, explanations to the cultures natives of Tierra del Fuego, the onas, the Yámana and the Tehuelche. You can also see a canoe made by bark of trees, as did the aborigines in actual size.

  • This visitor center features two historic rooms. a beautiful gazebo for excellent photos, a regional shopping centre and a café-bar and fast food. The entrance to this Center is included with the entrance to the Park $90 for Argentines, retired free entry Gral. $ 210. A room tells the story from the era glacier and the other the development of man and nature. Really very interesting.
