Canal Beagle, Ushuaia

(4.6/5 based on 5,000+ reviews on the web)
While it might sound like a television network dedicated to videos of adorable dogs, Canal Beagle is actually a strait at the extreme southern tip of South America. The channel offers excellent wildlife watching, with plenty of cormorants and sea lions populating its waters. You can take a boat cruise to explore glacial offshoots and wild southern landscapes close to the edge of the continent, beyond which only Antarctica lies. • We had the good sense to choose the lesser of the vessels offered. A total of nine passengers, a family of 4, one of three and both of us more pattern and a crew which in turn acted as guide. The boat was Tango yacht, the price slightly higher than the massive catamaran, but the sensational navigation approaches to islands with sea lions, cormorants, penguins. Sighted and gannets and Petrels. We we saw a whale, whose follow-up to pattern dedicated a long time, already exceeded the scheduled tour time. A hike by one of the Islands can be visited to learn in detail flora includes.
