Canal Beagle, Ushuaia

4.6
While it might sound like a television network dedicated to videos of adorable dogs, Canal Beagle is actually a strait at the extreme southern tip of South America. The channel offers excellent wildlife watching, with plenty of cormorants and sea lions populating its waters. You can take a boat cruise to explore glacial offshoots and wild southern landscapes close to the edge of the continent, beyond which only Antarctica lies. • I recommend making the trip, we opted to do so in a boat girl, since we read that it is more personalized, something that was so. Gives you another view of the Ensim city we had a spring day, no wind, what he did to be very pleasant and beautiful views of the lighthouse, ushuaia, birds etc. If you fight a little price, getting better prices than those contained in the paper they give you at the tourist office. In 1400, let us per 1000. It included navigation, hiking, coffee shop and free beer.

  • This is the natural channel that connects Pacific and Atlantic Oceans. It is a great experience to be at that place.  more »
  • Take the Beagle Channel is a formidable experience. You are, practically at the end of the world. If you like the story, you'll appreciate the environment, the nature of the place in high degree. The landscape seen from the ships that cross the canal is unique. The islets, the lighthouse, the cordillera of the Andes, the city of Ushuaia, the magnificent surroundings you carry to other times. Simply wonderful!

Where to stay in Ushuaia

Despite its nickname, Ushuaia is certainly not the end of the world when it comes to finding comfortable lodgings--as long as you plan ahead and reserve your room in advance. Hotels and hostels are equally crowded here during the peak season (October to March), so it's advisable to arrive with a solid reservation in hand. If you choose to visit during the winter (June to mid-September), expect to find many establishments closed for the season.
