4.6/5 based on 4,400+ reviews on the web
While it might sound like a television network dedicated to videos of adorable dogs, Canal Beagle is actually a strait at the extreme southern tip of South America. The channel offers excellent wildlife watching, with plenty of cormorants and sea lions populating its waters. You can take a boat cruise to explore glacial offshoots and wild southern landscapes close to the edge of the continent, beyond which only Antarctica lies. • Traditional by the Beagle Channel is very cool. It happens all year long, but in the summer included a visit to Isla Martillo, where is the pinguineira. Have companies that promote landing on the island and others do not. In winter the penguins migrate, so that part of the tour is suppressed. Still, it's a very good ride. Protect yourself, because it's cold and gusty, worsening the thermal sensation.
