Domaine Bousquet, Tupungato

(4/5 based on 120+ reviews on the web)
Tour the sprawling vineyards of one of Argentina's most prominent wineries at Domaine Bousquet, which places special emphasis on organic production. Established in the late 1990s by the Bousquet family (hailing from Carcassonne in southern France), the winery combines both French and Argentinian knowledge and techniques to produce wines of excellent quality. Tours involve an expedition through the vineyard with information provided on the history of the family and the business, as well as insight into the winery's methods. Of course, it all culminates in a tasting session. Note that taxis from the nearest town are nearly impossible to get; instead, take one of the public buses serving the area. Put Domaine Bousquet at the forefront of your travel plans using our Tupungato trip itinerary maker.

  • Bousquet family from Carcassonne region in France came here in late 1990s and started this Domaine. Fascinating story and visit explaining development, use of concrete tanks and related problems. Impo...  more »
  • The service began in the lobby. I came alone and without a car, I'd have to walk up to the building, loooong so the doorman called and a guide was picking me up. The Sun in January in Tupungato is very strong. The view of the Cordilleras is incredible, besides being a very beautiful place, and very well taken care of. Did the tour guide Emiliano, that even speaking Spanish was very careful to speak more slowly so that I understood the information. Then, following the lead of the Guide, an amazing lunch (one of the most delicious of all in Mendoza). In this lunch I fell completely by the Rose wine malbec from the Domaine. Too bad I can't find in my town. Good service from start to finish. Worth knowing the Domaine Bousquet: history, differentiated process (organic wine), impeccable service, wonderful wines, hot foods and incredible view. One of the places that will always be as special.

  • Organic Vinicola restaurant with a sensational view of the Andes, with impeccable presentation of the Guide. Technically it was the best explanation that we had in the tastings,. If not mistaken the name of the guide was Anna Laura.

  • We had lunch at the restaurant, Gaia. The meal was by far the best we had in Mendoza.

  • Great tour guide, she had expertise and was very pleasant sharing a wealth of knowledge!
  • All perfect! Very good service! Great wines. The truth did not expect much but they surprised me. The highly recommended 6-course menu. Obvious French style.
