  • He cone is an of them big attractions of Tolar Grande and of the Puna Austral. One has to make a great effort to get to see it and the reward is great.

  • The road from Tolar Grande flows through the extensive salar de Arizaro. As parts of the road are not in very good condition, the trip becomes a much long. The views of the cone from the road are nice, but even more are from the viewpoint where is the mining company.

  • The cono of arita is an impressive rock formation. It's in the middle of the desert of Arizarro, in the Argentine Northwest, near the border with Chile. He impresses by its conical shape, produced naturally by wind erosion. You can't climb the Cono, but can walk to his foot. And don't think it's an easy walk. We're in a desert, the prospect deceives us, letting us think that is near, but it's a 15-minute walk from a solo full of holes. And taking into account that we are more than 4,000 m in height.
