  • Through vehicle Salar (in parts the path is somewhat damaged and you need to go slowly) made aware of how big that is. It crosses to visit the famous cone of Arita. High winds in the afternoon makes at certain times of the year look Brown better and not so white as one imagines it. Not lose the typical photo of the poster of the salt with the cow skull.

  • Out of Tolar Grande, starts the Salar de Arizaro (1600 square kilometers)-when you buy through you realize the immensity of the same-as they pass the hours, the Sun becomes colorful salar.-landscape is indescribable. It is the path to the cone of Arita

  • The Salar de Arizaro is the largest in Argentina, with an area of 1,600 km2, and an altitude of 3,460 meters. We left Tolar Grande and we headed West for about 15 km. This way you can see different volcanoes such as the Socompa and Aracar, which are part of the six thousand, since we were close to the border with Chile. We then took southbound until you reach the cone of Arita, conical apparent which is located at the southern end of the Salt Lake, near the province of Catamarca. We stopped here to bring us closer to the cone. It should be noted that out of the way fossil salt is a hardness similar to stone, irregular, and with sharp edges that can damage the shoe. Then we continue to mine Onyx that already is not exploited to have a more complete view of the Salar and the cone. The cone is majestic and the view from there is shocking, as the entire environment with different colors and contrasts.
