  • You should go with a guide because it is easy to get lost and not find the caves. Everything is way worth it. The caves itself are also very good. Which overlooks the Gorge is very nice to relax and enjoy the view, which is the other side of what can be seen from Tilcara. There is another that falls inside the mountain that also is worth going, although it is not recommended to claustrofobicos.

  • The excursion is really not to be missed. They are around 3 - 4 hours walk. With my partner played us two women who are part of the indigenous community to which they belong the caves. They were very loving and patient with the entire group. The way in which they transmit their history and traditions is very exciting. The cost is $200 per person. It is really worth it.

  • I think it is a good visit to learn more of the local traditions. At least that was my experience with Javier. In addition and very important. .. with your visit you support the community who has lived in these lands for centuries. Important if you want to be preserve in time.
