Museo de arte Tigre, Tigre

(4.6/5 based on 700+ reviews on the web)
Housed in an impressive building, Museo de arte Tigre combines art with stunning architecture. The museum finds its home in a former social club for elite Argentines, an elegant example of neo-classical architecture. Notice the luxurious details like iron gates, red oak floors, and bronze and gold leaf decorations. The museum changes exhibitions regularly, so there’s always something new to see, from sculptures to paintings. The main collection features Argentine art of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. The lawns surrounding the museum rival the sights inside, with leafy trees, and well-kept gardens. To visit Museo de arte Tigre on your trip to Tigre, use our Tigre trip builder.

  • I was very eager to visit the Tiger Art Museum. The landscape is beautiful and the location is wonderful. We take great pictures on the outside of the building and paid 50 pesos to visit the Museum. They have few pieces when compared with the Malba or the Museum of fine arts, but I found it quite interesting collection of paintings that tell a little of the history of the Tiger (the collection is not limited to that).
