Where to stay in Tandil

Thanks to Tandil's popularity as a weekend and holiday destination for domestic and international tourists alike, it features a wide array of accommodation options suitable for just about any budget. Downtown you'll find a number of larger-scale hotels and rental apartments that offer privacy, onsite dining, and fancier accoutrements catering to business travelers and tourists. In order to get out into nature, many visitors opt for "cabanas," traditional Argentine cabins in the surrounding countryside; bear in mind that these are rustic and charming but only practical if you have access to a car. Booking ahead of time in the summer high season is an absolute must in Tandil, as lodgings fill up fast.

  • If you are in the area this is a nice 2 hour hike or so. There are lots of animals around and some nice views near the top.  more »
  • In theory we were because it was a passing by car via the sierra where is was seeing the flora and fauna of Tandil, arrived and there was no way to go by car, so we did the tour walk. It did not make animals more than Rhea, two Cougars locked and a snake. The reality is that it was a hike, but there was nothing which we mentioned

  • At the entrance there are some animals, llamas, pumas, donkeys, foxes, etc. Then rises around 4 km walk or drive watching donkeys and nature. Nothing more than to walk awhile.

  • It had been about 6 years ago and remembered having seen more variety of animals free in the mountains. Now we only saw donkeys. Unfortunate Puma locked up in a cage. It seemed doped. The route is very beautiful landscape. The best deer mount. It has a beautiful view. Admission is $70 for adults. Children under 10 years free of charge

  • Very nice ride, stepped to quiet and enjoy the view and the nature, can also be done in auto, but much is lost contact with the place. Some loose animals are... What bothered me is that it has 2 Pumas 2 girls cages, which are a sad, you look at them and you think "poor animal". They should relocate them... I quite liked the rest of the Park

  • The landscape is the only thing cute. The animals are unprotected, nobody controls that visitors do not give them to eat, something they do constantly, feeding them with harmful things for your health, as well as put them at risk for the sake of approaching humans. There are lot of enclosed animals, some of them like the puma, with clear signs of zoocosis. Unnecessary their closure, the explained reasons for this very questionable. There are bags Consortium with garbage in different parts of the tour, another danger for animals that can eat the garbage bags. They let visitors enter with dogs, which a sign at the entrance indicates that it is haraam. The place is in terms of abandonment and neglect. It would not, rather than to denounce all the deficiencies of that place.

  • The pumas are locked. Not good. Donkeys are weak, appear to be malnourished. The tour is no big deal.
