Cerro El Centinela, Tandil
(4.1/5 based on 1,500+ reviews on the web)
True to its name, Cerro El Centinela keeps watch over the plains below. Literally "Sentinel Hill" in English, the distinctive rock formation, consisting of a large rock balanced precariously on another below it, has attracted generations of Argentinean visitors. The top rock moves back and forth slowly over several hours, so if you leave something next to the point where the stones meet, you'll probably come back to find it crushed hours later. The park surrounding the rock formation offers several enjoyable, not-too-difficult hiking trails. With our custom trip planner, Tandil attractions like Cerro El Centinela can be center stage of your vacation plans, and you can find out about other attractions like it, unlike it, near it, and miles away.

  • It is a complex that has several attractions. The most visited stone Sentinel and the chairlift. It is a place to spend the day as there are even restaurants with affordable prices.

  • Beautiful view. Nice place to see the city from above. To have a good time with family and friends.

  • The walk is simple and comes to get beautiful views. There are other activities like horseback riding, but I do not recommend it because they do not respect the particular public giving priority to contingent. I recommend that managers of complex established in writing priorities, so the visitor does not feel lacks respect!

  • With effort and fall hazard you can climb to the top to look at the landscape, the city, the field, and take a few mates. The heat does not suffer as much as the city. At the foot of the Hill a very cute craft fair where you can do shopping from garments to plants. Also I was struck that there were dogs abandoned there down, one of them in bad been, and of which no one was charge, so if you go remember bring a little food for pets, you're going to do a great favor to the bugs need.
