En general conformes y contentos con la experiencia, aunque cambiaríamos algunas cosas. Contratamos el paquete completo con paseo full + cena + alojamiento en el Hotel Alto Suipacha. Nos tocó la suert... more »Generally compliant and happy with the experience, although we changed some things. We hire the complete package with full walk + dinner + accommodation in the Hotel high Suipacha. We had the luck to be only 2 couples in the group, so it was very personal, even though we crossed with other numerous contingent who were doing the same on their own. It is good to know that is arranged in a particular way. -For those who do not like waking up early, like us, I recommend spending the night and make the walk on Sunday, already have in the area before 10 pm. That decision I think it was very successful, could have breakfast quiet and in 5 min already were at the meeting point. -Do not recommend hiring dinner in "La Gringa". The place is not bad, but being a closed menu, we could not choose and it was bad. Us almorzado were abundant in Tomás Jofré and we would have preferred to spend dinner or meal lighter, and not possible to change anything about the menu, which also does not include drink. I think that if we were going without the contracted dinner, could choose better and even cheaper counting drink. The place is OK, but better a la carte. -Visit to Piedras Blancas: left much to be desired. It is basically to see a video and a talk during the tasting. We did not see the animals, plants or anything about the process. The video is good and shows a little bit of everything, but traveled to the site to see for myself. We expected more. The girl who explained felt passionate, but failed a little organization. -Fermier: short visit and an explanation a bit to pass without too much detail. If you don't know anything about the process of cheese, the explanation is unclear. We saw neither cows nor we could know the process well, we saw the facilities and meh. The tasting was abundant, and tasty, we had a good time, but we learned little. -The square, wild boar Kennel: outstanding point in the route. Very nice place, we could see up close and interact with wild boar. The very passionate guide told us in detail how they work and answered all of our questions. The tasting was very good and we were wanting to lunch, which is not expensive. For those who complain that the taste only offers wine, can be ordered free tap water, and step test the water in the area that is exquisite. -Il bilberry, Blueberry: were lucky to fall right in the time of harvest. It must be the only highly recommended time to go, so the visit was interactive, entertaining and educational. The owner is very enthusiastic and also answered all the questions. We bought at a very convenient price blueberries that we harvest and other products. -Coordination and attention of Nicholas was excellent and very pleasant at all times. We could not say the same of the guide that came with us in the car, which we expected more explanations, more guidance and attention, but was limited to indicate stops. Another story would have been a proactive guide that you love the place and you are visiting. We feel that we could do without it, and precisely the added value that should be take the tour with guide and not in a particular way. We have had bad luck with the guide that we had because I read that other people were satisfied. -In itself as a tour best stops are not cheese. They are only 2 establishments of cheese is a little disappointing. It would be good to know the famous "Suipachense" or any other establishment of pork products appearing in the area there are several.
