  • Difficulty: Medium duration: 6 h 30' starts at 8.30 hs and concludes at 15.30 approx. minimum age: 10 years requirements to make the walk: 3 litres of water in summer (2 litres in winter), hat, sunglasses, Sun, sunscreen, comfortable shoes, lunch or snack fruits, some mesh or short bath, camera submersible or similar, be in good physical condition. Paid $100 for entrance to the Parque Provincial Ernesto Tornquist and $250 per person guided (Yes gentlemen, is guided as the trail to Cerro Ventana). I.e. all the Trek costs ARS 350 per PAX. You must be in the gateway to the punctual 8 pm. You can enter the base of the Cerro Ventana in particular vehicle, remis or transfer (Silver or Tornquist). The road is relatively simple. There are 2 promotions pronounced as much, but then there is no difficulty. Few stones and (dry) streams to pass through. Perhaps one chance in going to lift the knees or helping with her 2 arms to go through a wall or 2 rocks. Out there upset him are the bushes with thorns, so a long pants it would solve everything. At the end of the trail traversing a ravine for 10 minutes and finally arrive at a pit with water of 8 meters deep. It seems evil, but this is the final destination. The water is icy, but it is worthwhile to take a dip in the summer when temperatures are hellish. At noon is the only time of day that gives Sun the throat since the rest of the day remains covered by the shadow of the same Canyon. DATA EXTRAS: Visitor Center has maps, there are brochures, there is a supply (open at 9), there are bathrooms and other paths for those who have planned another trip. IMPORTANT: you must be informed before you go to this site since this walk in the Park, and not only that does not always occur but that in summer the Park closes by high temperatures! Ask your hotel or by telephone (from the city since there is no cell signal at Cerro Ventana!) Note that there is little info online. Attend the phone better.
