Cuevas de Acsibi, Seclantas
(5/5 based on 85+ reviews on the web)
Trek to Cuevas de Acsibi to witness the caves' natural formation of rocks in a deep orange color. Expect a bit of a challenge: you'll need four-wheel drive to access the trail, and the route from the mouth of the canyon to the caves takes four hours. That said, the caves' hues of reddish orange complemented by beams of sunlight shining into the enclosure make it all worthwhile. The trail itself is a geological marvel, with changing colors, widths, and shapes as it progresses. Contact the tour guide, Fido Aban, in advance to arrange your tour. • The truth is that to add to the other reviews there is not much more; the place, after having traveled to many corners of our beautiful Argentina, is truly unique. Forms that are drawing on the stones to measure one progresses along the way (and everything was eroded naturally million years ago) is something that I do not believe that there is in the world. Nothing of the whole route would be the same without the pleasant company of don Fido Aban ending with his explanations and his experiences and experiences of having lived there all your life you give shape to this spectacular walk. Worth knowing this beautiful place and share dinner or breakfast with Fido. With my lady love take you enormous and only stayed two days at his farm. We met the acsibi caves and crevices of pacha. The best of the NOA...

  • We stayed 2 nights at the farm Montenieva of Fido Abán who received us in his house with the generosity and kindness of a friend. We did the hike to the caves of Acsibi while Fido told us various anecdotes of the place where he was born and is breed. We learned to observe traces of pumas, guanacos and almost wild cows. As we were going along the Gorge mountains become intense colors Orange and reddish. Their forms whimsical make fly the imagination. We arrived at the caves that are the highlight of an extraordinary ride. Thank you Fido to take us to the soul of the Calchaquí valleys. Don't miss this visit for anything in the world.

  • We were with my wife travelling 10 days North, for us it was the best of the trip. I had very high expectations of the place for comments and something that had information on the site read. Widely exceeded them! The safety pin is for us! To the extent that all the others then we visited, I liked but nothing we wonder.
