Parque Juan de Garay, Santa Fe

2.7
#7 of 12 in Parks in Province of Santa Fe
Nature / Park
Covering a distance of 30 hectares (74 acres), Parque Juan de Garay has plenty of space for a wide variety of activities, from lounging around to sports and play. Renovation in 2009 restored the lakes, gazebos, bridges, and biodiverse plant life here, alongside five new general-use soccer fields and cycling circuits. Look for the traditional outdoor cinema showing classic films among the pristine lake. Alternatively, simply relax with a book on the verdant lawns under the tall trees. • Very come less, lack of maintenance, nothing that see what was in my time of child... Not recommended...

  • The place resembles the Lakes of Palermo in Buenos Aires, but minimally. You can walk, jog, there is vere, ideal for an afternoon. Unfortunately I recommend not make very late, because there have been some outbursts in the area, but are both day and evening. The majority of people will, and, above all like to exercise. Fundamental: If you are a late in Santa Fe, and even more about the water, bring insect repellent. Mosquitoes are present all year round!

  • Need a little more care. Long flow of transit and handling, for example learning circuits. It would be good to have more lighting and security. Short: * some bathrooms, with people who keep them in order. * More garbage cans and recycling (lots of space and muucha people for the few that exist). * More drinkers. In the evening it is no longer very safe to be in the area.

Where to stay in Santa Fe

The vast majority of accommodations in Santa Fe concentrate in the south of the city, close to Rio Santa Fe. Here, choose from a selection of long-established hotels, some with onsite swimming pools, casinos, and spas. Move away from the main drags in the southerly corner for a good set of more budget-friendly options, including simple backpacker hostels and basic hotels. If you're planning on staying a while, consider a rental apartment, with plenty of options dotted throughout the commercial and residential districts.
