  • It is the Cathedral of the city. A building history of hundreds of years located in the old part of the city. Facing the plaza de Mayo and the Government House. It is a necessary step for those who appreciate such places.

  • It is located in front of the Government House separated by square on May 25. The front is Italian neoclassical style. It has two bell towers and a Weathercock cock, which is preserved in the first construction. The walls are made of pressed adobe of 1.35 m. thick. The Altar contains relics of San Jerome, patron saint of the city. Three doors facing the street are decorated with old colonial strikeouts, and there is another door facing the side wall West, allowing access to the site. In the year 1942 was declared monument historic national. Holy water batteries, located in the entry of the enclosure, were donated by Juan Manuel de Rosas. You can observe the multicolored images and dress of Santa Rosa de Lima Ntra. Sra. del Carmen, San Roque and San Jerónimo; as well as the cross more coming from the reduction of Mocovies.
