  • This is not a tourist destination, most of the coaches stops in Humauaca and then go back to Jujuy or Salta. But not continuing on RN9 to Tres Cruces you would miss one of the most spectacular view in...  more »
  • Beautiful view traveling on Route 9. To traverse the entire route 9 and admire landscapes! safety pin!

  • It is a town that at some point was much more rich since the railroad passed through there. Today it is not as quaint as others, but he doesn't have the appeal of being in the middle of nowhere, and that touch of lost in time. Nearby there and that you can see from the nac 9, Hill "the Devil's backbone" route, which is the formation of colors as there are in all Jujuy, but it is not as attractive as others. My advice: If you only go to Tres Cruces I do not recommend it because it isn't as flashy nor has great mysteries, but if instead the route like, manage, know and understand the history and the culture of another place, then go!. It all depends on according to my understanding of how adventurous are and what they are looking for with travel. In our case we wanted to meet and experience another culture so we drove to La Quiaca!. If so, you will love pass by there and take a picture in the poster of the railway.
