  • The building was the Cabildo of Jujuy, now converted into a museum. It is not very big but nice to know. The entrance is worth 20 pesos. They're not taking photos or filming in the rooms, only in the outdoor patios.

  • The cabildo of Purmamarca is in sight, much better preserved. A pity the State of abandonment which is an emblematic place for the history of San Salvador de Jujuy. I hope soon to restore it.

  • Until last year (2015) in the Cabildo was the Central of the police of the province of Jujuy (now in Avenida Santibáñez No. 1372). Currently work is underway in the Apple where is located to turn it into a Cultural Center. When I was young my father worked there and I liked to go see him after school and pass through the halls of the cabildo. Especially go to the courtyard of the background where it is said that there were a few underground tunnels connecting with other downtown buildings, including the Cathedral. I do not know what so much of some will be in the myth, but that the tunnels are there, are. We hope to soon have all over the place in conditions to visit him.

  • Place where in addition to operate the central province police, there is a fairly complete Museum. It is located in the heart of the city of San Salvador de Jujuy.
