  • The truth is that I became disillusioned. Throughout the week consulting in San Rafael on the salt flats and nobody we provided information, as if it were a place that "Why go?". After insisting to my boyfriend, we decided to go and it was pointless: arriving was closed with a padlock. A pity. So I recommend that if they don't have to necessarily pass through the route, or they risk in losing that time.

  • On my last visit to San Rafael, we wanted to visit Malargüe, because we had been pending from previous trip. Then taking by route 144 and 50 km of our departure we have saline and as we are curious by nature entered to ask permission to look at, we meet the guide who kindly explained the functioning and the stages that required the removal of salt, we saw in the small museum a bit of the history of the place and take various kinds of salts with seasoning, smoked etc, still I am using. A nice walk

  • Passing through the route 144 road to Malargue can access the salt flats of diamond. A stop for the rest of the view and a few mates acompañdos, are sufficient for a rest in the middle of the giant.
