Bodega Labiano, San Rafael

4.5
#3 of 10 in Wineries in San Rafael
Winery / Vineyard Food & Drink
Follow the wine production process from the vineyard all the way to the fermentation process at Bodega Labiano. The winery was founded in 1825 and is still family owned and operated today. The vineyards produce Malbecs, Cabernet Sauvignons, Syrahs, and Merlot wines. More than 90,000 visitors visit annually; once there, do a guided tour, led through the rows of vines, barrel-lined cellars, and finishing in a small art gallery devoted to the art of winemaking. You'll have the chance to taste the distinctly rich, red wines yourself and purchase a bottle as a souvenir. Using our world travel planner, San Rafael attractions like Bodega Labiano can form part of a personalized travel itinerary.

  • If you like soft wines, and these along Route 173, it passes through Labiano. The place is very cute, this renovated, they offer variety of products now. I went back. I recommend it!

  • As the okay to go and give a tour of the winery, has the famous "Fountain of wine" where everyone pulls out photos. There is a small area where they sell sandwiches of ham. Wine leaves much to be desired, I'll stick with Finca El Nevado, the bee or other wineries in the area.

  • A winery very nice, different to all the others that have visited. The place very well prepared for tourism, guided more than good, not only for the interior of the winery but also for a small part of vineyards prepared for tourism, to show you the different strains. The old pools where it can enter, the Underground cellars, nor that talk about the place of the tasting: beautiful. All that much I didn't like was the wine, but that is very subjective to my personally found me of medium sized down.

  • At the front desk was great. The guided tour is short and concise. ALL the wines that are produced and are very affordable desgustan.
