Museo Paleontologico, San Pedro

(4.2/5 based on 100+ reviews on the web)
Walk stride-in-stride with prehistoric creatures at Museo Paleontologico. The museum's permanent exhibits boast a collection of more than 20 species of mammal fossils. Housed in a restored 19t- century mansion in the heart of a historic town, the museum was opened in 2003 by a group of amateur paleontologists. The first and most well-known piece of the collection is the fossil of a giant armadillo that had inhabited the area for thousands of years. After studying the various fossils and skeletons, try your hand at paleontology with a simulated excavation. • One not be imagine bumping is with a museum paleontology in so good state and so interesting. Such is the case of the of San Pedro. Excellent showrooms, with detailed histories of the fossils. A plus is the cute House that it houses. It is a good recreational and informative visit.

  • He Museum is something boy and not has much to see, it would recommend only if going with guys or if studying something akin to the paleontology. I as I am not related to the topic found me it a little boring.
