Museo Paleontologico, San Pedro
(4.2/5 based on 100+ reviews on the web)
Walk stride-in-stride with prehistoric creatures at Museo Paleontologico. The museum's permanent exhibits boast a collection of more than 20 species of mammal fossils. Housed in a restored 19t- century mansion in the heart of a historic town, the museum was opened in 2003 by a group of amateur paleontologists. The first and most well-known piece of the collection is the fossil of a giant armadillo that had inhabited the area for thousands of years. After studying the various fossils and skeletons, try your hand at paleontology with a simulated excavation. • Impact me and excited the amount of specimens found by paleontologists in San Pedro and nearby, as well as the well exhibited at the Museum of the city. The mansion that houses the sample is ideal for this important entrepreneurship.

  • A well mounted and interesting Museum. I was wanting more. There is a film that shows how the Museum was put together and how it was finding the parts that comprise it.

  • He Museum is something boy and not has much to see, it would recommend only if going with guys or if studying something akin to the paleontology. I as I am not related to the topic found me it a little boring.
