Museo Buque ARA General Irigoyen, San Pedro
(3.4/5 based on 75+ reviews on the web)
Museo Buque ARA General Irigoyen, a U.S. military ship sold to the Argentinian Navy in 1961, now serves as naval museum. The ship served briefly in World War II and during the Falklands war and was decommissioned in 2009 with 400,000 miles sailed. The whole ship is open for visitors, above and below deck. Children will love the tour as they man the cannons and deck guns, without any ammunition of course, or check out the captain's cabin and take the helm of the warship. • It is a vessel that has a rich history, was so much in him world, as in the Falklands war. It is aground on the shores of the Paraná and adjacent to the Safari resort (San Pedro). It is an attraction for children and part of a very valuable story for adults

  • If these visiting San Pedro and you guys got in less than 11 years, don't miss it. It is an anchored ship that serves as Museum and you can visit all parts of a boat so the guys give an idea of what it is to live onboard. Maintenance is poor, and the very steep stairs, if you have mobility problems do not upload. For the more guys the more attractive are the towers of canons of bow and stern which houses the mobility.

  • For those with kids, it's a very nice attraction! They charge only 20 pesos per adult and explain the history of the ship but sis doubt the best is that kids can maneuver the cannons of war! My kids didn't want to go down there! Very good!
