Museo Buque ARA General Irigoyen, San Pedro

(90 reviews on the web)
Specialty Museum Museum
Museo Buque ARA General Irigoyen, a U.S. military ship sold to the Argentinian Navy in 1961, now serves as naval museum. The ship served briefly in World War II and during the Falklands war and was decommissioned in 2009 with 400,000 miles sailed. The whole ship is open for visitors, above and below deck. Children will love the tour as they man the cannons and deck guns, without any ammunition of course, or check out the captain's cabin and take the helm of the warship. • Loved my son. It is a good opportunity to see the inside of a ship. The State in which it is located is not the best, and has a single employee who is this at the box office, which closes (and thus the entrance to the ship) every time you need to leave for something (in 45 minutes I was out of the boat I saw him exit and close with the people inside to 3 times) the entrance costs $45 per person and can be covered if same lasts approximately 20 to 30 minutes. You be wanting a guided visit

  • I've never gone into a museum inside a boat. This surprised me positively. If you're in Puerto Madero with a 30 min available don't let go. Kids will love. Have those wetsuits, original furnishings. Well interesting.

  • This is good. Like the guys but it is quite fallen. The input 46 pesos. I think medium expensive for the State, hopefully serve to maintain it in the future.
