3.5/5 based on 75+ reviews on the web
Museo Buque ARA General Irigoyen, a U.S. military ship sold to the Argentinian Navy in 1961, now serves as naval museum. The ship served briefly in World War II and during the Falklands war and was decommissioned in 2009 with 400,000 miles sailed. The whole ship is open for visitors, above and below deck. Children will love the tour as they man the cannons and deck guns, without any ammunition of course, or check out the captain's cabin and take the helm of the warship. • For those with kids, it's a very nice attraction! They charge only 20 pesos per adult and explain the history of the ship but sis doubt the best is that kids can maneuver the cannons of war! My kids didn't want to go down there! Very good!

  • Very good visit to ship Museum, very didactic and well-groomed despite being very old, lives up the history of that ship which accompanied the Irízar Antarctic campaigns.
