(4.2/5 based on 1,800+ reviews on the web)
Pay tribute to the birthplace of a nation at Casa Historica de Tucuman. Visit the house where Argentina officially declared independence from Spanish rule on July 9, 1816, and learn about the struggles the fledgling nation had to overcome. Now a museum dedicated to the signing of the declaration of independence, the unassuming white house--built, ironically, by colonial rulers--hosts independence celebrations every year on July 9. • Excellent visit, the entrance is free, very well presented the distribution of the exhibition of the Museum, there are guides telling a bit more of the history of each object, parts didactic for the more chiquitos, all very well preserved, and you truth is a visit that can not be done are a few minutes to take a significant reminder of our history It's very exciting to step on the same place where so many years ago declared our independence.

  • Really cool, not too much there and the machine didn't work and there was a enterance fee. Still cool place a must see if you're around.
  • It cost me to be objective by implying the place to the Argentine feel but the spectacle provided leaves much to be desired. It is as it was at the time. You should use new technologies to give added value. Everything else is beautiful, well maintained and attention more than cordial of those who there work. Re-fuel Yes or Yes.

  • Very nice historical House of Tucumán. The staff is very friendly. If you're a backpacker you can leave your backpack without problem to quiet. And the tour is very interesting addition to the good vibes of the Guide

  • Maintenance works sat him very well, looks in perfect condition, is the must-see in a trip to the Tucumán, it is the essence of the history of our country, can travel alone or in groups with guides, I do two things, walk inside one breathes and thrives on the very essence which let our representatives in Congress done to declare our freedom. Being in the room where the Declaration of independence was signed overwhelms him to one of excitement.
