Casa Historica de Tucuman, San Miguel de Tucuman

(3.9/5 based on 1,700+ reviews on the web)
Pay tribute to the birthplace of a nation at Casa Historica de Tucuman. Visit the house where Argentina officially declared independence from Spanish rule on July 9, 1816, and learn about the struggles the fledgling nation had to overcome. Now a museum dedicated to the signing of the declaration of independence, the unassuming white house--built, ironically, by colonial rulers--hosts independence celebrations every year on July 9. • The historic house is a must if they pass through the city. Here was signed the Act of independence of Argentina, featuring interactive displays, I recommend that they should wait for one of the tours. It's free! Aprovechenlo

  • What can I say. Visit forces for Argentines. To take are the time of learning and understanding to every cm2. It would be good to allow taking pictures without flash. There is that having in account the schema. Opens to them 10 hs, if not I'm wrong closes to the them 14 hs (at least in January)

  • It is curious that at school make us call "House of Tucumam", but there is an insult to call it so, since all are Tucumán, for this reason is called the "historic house". They can not leave the city without knowing it, and impress its large size, since in photo seems very small.
