Casa Historica de Tucuman, San Miguel de Tucuman

Pay tribute to the birthplace of a nation at Casa Historica de Tucuman. Visit the house where Argentina officially declared independence from Spanish rule on July 9, 1816, and learn about the struggles the fledgling nation had to overcome. Now a museum dedicated to the signing of the declaration of independence, the unassuming white house--built, ironically, by colonial rulers--hosts independence celebrations every year on July 9. Join a guided tour group to enhance your experience. Put Casa Historica de Tucuman into our San Miguel de Tucuman trip builder app and find out what's close by, where to stay, and where to head next.

  • The House more famous Tucumán, place where independence was signed. Almost the entire House was made again, because the roginal was demolished had, only the room where original ess independence was signed.

  • House history is actually completely remodeled, because it was abandoned at the beginning of the 20th century and retained only the facade and the room of the jura. Reconstruction is well maintained, but continues to be equal to that found in the Punta in San Luis. The spectacle of light and sound is rather poor and does not say the reasons by which was needed to declare independence nor the interests at stake

  • The House of Tucumán is the place icon from the garden of the Republic. This very well maintained and has a light show.

  • This space preserves part of "Our national history" I love return one and again is the third time that I return to visit "La Casa de Tucumán" and I always feel so much pride and emotion by those members of 1816! Hopefully some members of this era will work with the devotion of bring the country forward and not use banking "some sleeping" and other "to hang out" if really "represent us" SALDRIAMOS later and TENDRIAMOS the homeland that all the ARGENTINES want to! BEAUTIFUL HISTORICAL HOUSE CARE! BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE SO KIND TUCUMÁN ALWAYS!
