Playa Quila Quina, San Martin de los Andes
(4.4/5 based on 1,200+ reviews on the web)
Swim in an iconic Patagonian setting at Playa Quila Quina, located on the southern shores of Lake Lacar. Expect a sizeable crowd here, as ferries bring batches of tourists from San Martin several times a day, and many others arrive by car. Look for a small track branching off from the beach, which will lead you through the trees to Arroyo Grande, a nearby waterfall where you can escape the crowds. • Very good beach within walking distance of san Martín; access is quite difficult for the distance to the route and road deterioration, but it is worthwhile; is a quiet and picturesque Beach

  • Only half an hour by boat (you can also go by car) arrives to this amazing place. Although it is to observe the calm waters of the Lake while enjoying a sandwich on the sand, it is worth the visit to Quila Quina. Enjoy the photos, as the saying goes, a picture is worth more than thousand words.

  • You can go by car. The gravel is ok (they are 12km) but some drivers go faster and in some places the road is narrow. Go with caution. Also be accessed by boat several hours San Martin. Tranquility. Green water. There is a restaurant on the pier and clean bathrooms.
