Somewhat hidden within Sierra de las Quijadas National Park, this mountain range is renowned for its scenic rock formations and thriving wildlife. Species inhabiting the range include eagles, condors, bobcats, foxes, maras, and many more. The range was once the home of the Huarpe people and features several archeological sites. There are a number of hiking trails throughout the range; whichever you choose, be sure to bring sufficient supplies, such as water and snacks. Often lacking natural shade, all hiking trails in the park are closed if the outside temperature rises above 37 °C (98 °F).   • A spectacular landscape and desert. The National Park is beautiful, vertical walls of red colour with marks left by the old lagoon that was there. There are 2 or 3 walks. The self-guided are fine. It is worth to spend time in this place.

  • Place dreamed, marvels at the sight, enriching stroll, the place is wild and lacking in services, but vale worth visit, take precautions and water at high temperatures (summer) time. You can go by car.
