  • The main square of san Luis, who is in charge of the Cathedral is the Plaza Pringles, not misnamed plaza Independencia, in homage to the maximum leader of San Luis, who fought under the orders of General san Martin-Juan Pascual Pringles was an employee of trade who joined militia cavalry of their province, in the time that José de San Martín was Governor of the province of which. In November 1819 he joined the army of the Andes, in the regiment of grenadiers on horseback, with those who made the independence campaign the Peru. There he participated in the landings in the battle of Nazca and Paracas. When a realistic squad decided to move on to the pro-independence camp, San Martín sent you instructions and warranties with a small game commanded by Lieutenant Pringles. He later fought at Junín and Ayacucho. Back to the Argentina, he participated in the war of the Brazil and played a role in the battle of Ituzaingó under orders of José María Paz. He was promoted to the rank of Colonel and sent to recruit troops in his province, returning in front of them to Córdoba. Arriving in Rio Cuarto, found people waiting for the impending attack of Facundo Quiroga, who had returned to the war against all expectations. He directed the defense of the town against Quiroga, but when it took it by assault, Pringles managed to flee to San Luis. It was reached by Quiroga and defeated in San José de el Morro. A few days later, on March 19, 1831 again he was defeated on the banks of the Río Quinto. It was reached by a federal officer who did not recognize him and ordered him to surrender. Pringles replied that only he would yield to Quiroga, so the officer descerrajó a shot in the chest. was I helpful?

  • Parada de transpuntano bcg d e f i h r n o ok
  • Linda
  • It is an old square, at the time was the main square, located in front of the former Government House, the legislature, the former convent of Santo Domingo and the ancient craft carpet factory. It has large trees and green spaces, playgrounds and a small section for exercise. Square is crowded by both its location and thus also that it spends most of the collective line.
