Mina de los Condores, San Luis

(4.7/5 based on 120+ reviews on the web)
Explore the historic mining tunnels of Mina de los Condores and retrace the steps of old miners throughout the 20th century. The mine stretches for 15 km (9 mi) through the dark and mysterious underground. Learn how the miners worked and survived through brutal working conditions, heavily exploited during both world wars. Keep an eye out for small passages, mining chutes, and blue tungsten sprawled over the mine walls. A great chance to unleash the adventurer within you but be prepared to face dark and cramped environments. • It is a wonderful adventure into the mine, it is out of the ordinary to know a wonderful place with a powerful story. Many sensations, an experience that you can not stop.

  • It is an old mine that is not already exploited surrounded by an abandoned village. Everything seems straight out of a movie (mixture of cowboys and terror) the people you can explore, entering abandoned houses and down to the River, which has a beautiful landscape). The tour consists of entering the mine (with boots, flashlights and helmet of a miner) and the Guide (who knows a lot) tells you the history of the mine and the mining work. To get there to do 14 kilometers from Concarán, 9 of which are gravel, but the road is in very good condition. Although the entrance is not economic worth. It is really an experience out of the ordinary, if you andás close I recommend you not to miss it.

  • IN an old and abandoned mine, is made some nice excursions within them and touring the premises. A novel experience, to go with the family. It seems to me that a theme bar is missing.
