Trip Planner: South America / Argentina / Northern Argentina / Province of Salta / San Lorenzo / Quebrada de San Lorenzo
Trade in the busy lifestyle of Salta for its verdant suburbs and accessible, biodiverse cloud forest at Quebrada de San Lorenzo. Hike or take a horseback ride through the lush forest, where you'll encounter crystal clear streams, orchids, ferns, lichens, and bromeliads. Wear sturdy boots and expect damp conditions in the forest. Back in town, check out the number of restaurants and bars at the entrance if you've worked up a thirst or appetite. It has some interesting restaurants but I expected more nature.

A place with beautiful views, a beautiful stream where you can rest, is drink mate, and even make a small roast in a small rack there as soon as you reach the Gorge. On the other hand, climbing hard enough, it's a time to walk and if traveling in summer, rainy season, the terrain tends to not be in the best conditions. Even so, it can be done and worth. There is also a beautiful place where you can eat or drink coffee.
Beautiful and easy to reach via public transport from Salta. The Walt to the Mirador is wonderful. Be prepared to get wet feet.
Awesome views/nature. Has tables and grilling area (bring your own grill). Great for weekend BBQ. Has public bathrooms and two restaurants
Very beautiful place, but the trails aren't well-maintained and it's supposedly private property, so no one is sure if it's allowed to go there or not
Beautiful place to appreciate the natural charms. Beautiful gorge. Abundant vegetation. Health services in good state of conservation and cleaning. Being a tourist place it would be good that the artisan jobs were open to established schedules since they open at different times. Exquisite landscape.
