Quebrada de San Lorenzo, San Lorenzo

4.1
#10 of 27 in Parks in Province of Salta
Trade in the busy lifestyle of Salta for its verdant suburbs and accessible, biodiverse cloud forest at Quebrada de San Lorenzo. Hike or take a horseback ride through the lush forest, where you'll encounter crystal clear streams, orchids, ferns, lichens, and bromeliads. Wear sturdy boots and expect damp conditions in the forest. Back in town, check out the number of restaurants and bars at the entrance if you've worked up a thirst or appetite. Walk by tipping the river and the mountain up a vantage point overlooking the cities of Salta and San Lorenzo. Approximate duration of 1 hour up and one for down. Difficulty the second half first half and high. But you can stay at the base to enjoy the shade on the banks of the river. There is a small fair and don't forget to eat a few pies in Doña Elsa

I took a collective line and 6.70 and half hour tour came to the Salta oasis. It is fairly close to the Center. There are things to do (like the yungas walks) and watching birds and indigenous flora. There are places to eat and drink mate.

Awesome views/nature. Has tables and grilling area (bring your own grill). Great for weekend BBQ. Has public bathrooms and two restaurants

Very beautiful place, but the trails aren't well-maintained and it's supposedly private property, so no one is sure if it's allowed to go there or not

Distant countryside 12 km from the capital of Salta. You can climb the Hill to contemplate from the Summit town is San Lorenzo. The rise is well marked is made in 1 hour or hour and a half. Not suitable for those who have no shoes or comfortable shoes. There are parts with narrow path

Beautiful place, very quiet, for a walk of peaceful hiking. You can also walk a few meters and sit down to appreciate the place. Very cute place. In the lower part there is a small crafts fair.
