  • A unique experience. The landscapes, the unique sky, and above all a team of people with a dedication to science and its dissemination. Must-see of the region

  • Super recommended night visit! It's $200 and they explain good. The stars look amazing. You also look through the telescope. We were quoted at 9 p.m. but it started type 22hs and I finished 23hs and peak.

  • To come back and forth. One of our objectives when visiting Barreal was to participate in the experiences proposed by the CESCO and C.AS observatories. Leo. Very pleasantly, we started our stay by making the night visit to CESCO. In a nutshell: one of the most wonderful nights of our lives. Hector was our guide on an astronomical journey full of curiosities, laughter, surprises and wonders. He even gave us a souvenir of those who treasure dissent for life! The next morning, we decided to do the daytime visit and, accompanied again by Hector, we did a more than interesting tour. With humor and charisma, he explained to us the operation of the observatory in general and the telescope in particular and emphasized the topics that interested us, such as astronomical photography over the years. Before continuing our journey, we wanted to repeat the night visit: this time it was Eric who accompanied us. His style of "disclosure" when it came to the world of stars was different, but no less interesting. Heaven, this time, did not accompany us, but the answers to all questions did. A big challenge for him! For us, overcome. The cost of day visit is $100 per person and the night visit is $200. Really the CESCO experience is to repeat and repeat. We'll be back in winter for more. Thank you!
