  • Casa Natal Domingo F Sarmiento is located in the Centre of the city a few blocks from the main square, opposite the tourism body. It is a museum that can be objects that were part of the life of the great hero San Juan. It has a library. Also you can visit the gardens. A place to visit

  • Great place if you're into museums and history. It is the birth house of Domingo Faustino Sarmiento, one of the best historical figures of Argentina. it has both audioguide and regular tour guide. A MUST VISIT if you're doing tourism. Plus, the tourism information of the entire state is just in front of it, so you can do two thing in one. There are also statues you can take photos(free) with of both Sarmiento, and some dinosaurs(the dinosaurs are across the street, not on Sarmiento's house)
  • Historic spot to learn about one of the milestone of Argentina.
  • There are many activities to do there
  • Me encato
  • The earthquake of ' 44 could not with her. Yes, it is true, they underpinned it but was his spirit that kept her on foot. 85 cm, its rooms, walls loom of Doña Paula, GRANDMASTER solid desk, kitchen and his garden, his writings and his feathers... make that everyone should recognize that teaching is a profession based on the vocation.

Where to stay in San Juan

Within Av. Circunvalacion sits the main bulk of San Juan's places to stay. Plush, modern high-rises tower over the central neighborhood, while older, more traditional hotels line the edges of the main urban parks and plazas. Budget-friendly options come in the form of unassuming, converted residential blocks and rental apartments. If you head outside of the ring road, you'll have a choice between relaxing lodgings on the estates of local wineries, and a good selection of back-to-basics campgrounds.
