  • Very nice butterfly enclosure in the building. We found about half of the history displays interesting. Not sure how the sculpture replicas fit in. The history of Limon was informative.  more »
  • REALLY to not lose, we had a Mrs as a guide, it was so good to his story, that took us to almost, almost, living those moments, of the arrival of the COLONISTS and of each character... A reported book! And many other things to discover! ... THIS FORBIDDEN TAKE PHOTOS

  • This interesting Museum is located opposite the main square of the city of San Jose in an old mansion dating back to the year 1885. The Museum was inaugurated in 1958 and subsequently extended on land donated for this purpose. The Museum preserves the memory of the Swiss, French and Italian immigrants who arrived in Entre Ríos and gave origin to the 1st provincial agricultural colony. It presents a large number of objects; rural tools, clothing, furniture, documents, an old car, carriage, documents, photographs and lists of immigrants. The exhibition is very well organized and the objects and documents exposed in a State. The building is very well preserved, extremely clean and conditioned. A separate paragraph deserves staff, who in addition to providing an excellent service shows a great knowledge of the history and all the necessary time to explain it. Currently it is not allowed to take pictures inside but if in the courtyard. Runs every day less Mondays and the entrance is very cheap ($15). It really is a very interesting museum that is worth visiting.

  • Excellent synthesis of the early days of the colony San Jose. Effort thanks to the descendants of the colonists that they preserved with love and respect for the legacy of their ancestors and donated items that everyone can enjoy. Accessibility for people with different disabilities is also a point very in favour.
